SHIPPING POLICY
Effective Date: 1 June 2025
We take great care in preparing and shipping every Locale piece, ensuring it reaches you safely and in perfect condition. Please read our Shipping Policy below.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship to all major cities and serviceable pin codes across India. We are working towards expanding international shipping. If you are outside India and wish to place an order, please contact us at support@localestores.com and we will do our best to assist.
2. Processing Time
Since all our products are handcrafted in small batches, please allow the following processing times before your order is dispatched:

Ready-to-ship items: 2–4 business days

Made-to-order or low-stock items: 7–14 business days

Bespoke / Custom orders: 14–30 business days (timeline will be communicated at the time of order)
Orders are processed on business days (Monday–Saturday, excluding Indian public holidays). Orders placed after 5:00 PM IST will be processed the next business day.
3. Estimated Delivery Time
Once dispatched, estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

Metro cities (Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata): 2–4 business days

Tier-2 & Tier-3 cities: 4–7 business days

Remote / Rural areas: 7–12 business days
These are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or local disruptions. Locale is not liable for delays caused by third-party logistics partners.
4. Shipping Charges

Free shipping on all orders above ₹2,000.

For orders below ₹2,000, a flat shipping fee of ₹99 will be charged at checkout.

Remote/rural locations may incur additional charges, which will be displayed at checkout.
5. Packaging
Every Locale piece is packaged with intention. We use protective, eco-conscious packaging materials to ensure your products arrive safely and beautifully presented. Wrought iron and ceramic items are individually wrapped and cushioned to prevent damage in transit.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number and courier partner details. You can use this to track your shipment in real time. If you do not receive tracking details within the processing window, please contact us.
7. Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or refusal to accept, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Re-delivery may incur an additional shipping charge. Locale is not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
8. Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please do not discard the packaging. Photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@localestores.com. We will review and arrange a replacement or refund as applicable. Refer to our Refund & Return Policy for further details.
