REFUND POLICY

At Locale, every product is handcrafted with care and shipped with the utmost attention to quality. We want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, please review our policy below.
1. Return Window
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery for eligible items. Requests made after 7 days of the delivery date will not be accepted.
2. Eligible Returns
We accept returns only under the following circumstances:

Damaged on Arrival: The product was delivered in a visibly damaged condition.

Defective Product: The product has a manufacturing defect that affects its functionality or structural integrity.

Wrong Item Delivered: You received a product different from what you ordered.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

Products with minor natural variations in finish, grain, texture, or colour — these are inherent to handcrafted goods.

Items that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery.

Bespoke or custom-made orders.

Products not in their original packaging.

Sale or discounted items marked as "Final Sale".
4. How to Initiate a Return

Email us at support@localestores.com within 7 days of delivery with:

Your order number

A clear description of the issue

Photographs of the product and packaging showing the damage or defect

Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days and communicate the outcome.

If approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup from your delivery address. Please retain the original packaging for safe return shipping.
5. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 3–5 business days. If approved:

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued as bank transfers. Please share your bank details upon approval.

Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
6. Exchange Policy
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please initiate a return as described above and place a fresh order for the desired item once the refund has been processed.
7. Custom & Bespoke Orders
All bespoke and custom-crafted orders are made to your specifications and are therefore non-refundable and non-returnable, except in cases where the product arrives damaged or defective.
